Raise a Lotto is the trading name of Nineteen Twelve Management Ltd, a company Licensed by The Gambling Commission as an External Lottery Manager. We provide lottery administration services to societies in Great Britain, helping them to raise money.

When we refer to “The Company”, “We” or “Us” within this Privacy Policy, we are referring to Nineteen Twelve Management Ltd.

When we refer to “Society Data” we mean the contact and address information of the society and personal information for the Promoter of your lottery.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Data Protection Framework

The Company is based within the United Kingdom, and as such is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a Data Processor under the UK Data Protection Act of 1998. We have also aligned our Privacy Policy with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) the supervision of the ICO within the UK.

Your Data

When you make an enquiry regarding a lottery for your society, we will record the contact information provided.

Whilst we are providing services to you as a client, we are required under the Gambling Act 2005, to maintain a record of the society whose lottery we are administering and the contact details for a designated person within your society.

What We May Use Your Data For

We may access and use your personal data only for the purposes for which you have submitted it to us to (a) provide information to you, (b) make contact with you, (c) provide services to you, or (d) meet our regulatory requirements with the Gambling Commission.

We will not use your personal information for any other purposes, unless we have your specific consent that permits us to do so, and we will not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your Player’s Data

As an External Lottery Manager, we provide player information to you and provide you with the marketing communication preferences provided when the player registered.

Sensitive Personal Data

GDPR specifies a set of personal data categories which are “sensitive”, and which require special consideration by Data Controllers. We do not knowingly collect or process any sensitive personal data.

Data Retention

We retain your Society Date while we administer your lottery.

When your lottery ends, we retain your information for a further 7 years to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements with The Gambling Commission and AIM as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, maintain accurate financial and other records, resolve disputes. For example, to allow a regulatory body to audit our financial information and processes.

Following this period, your data and all player data, including your account itself, will be permanently deleted from our systems and will no longer be accessible.

Children’s Personal Data

It is an offence for a person under 16 to participate in a lottery. As such, we do not maintain any child’s personal data

Your Data Rights

You have specific rights connected to the provision of your personal data to us. These include your rights to request we:

  • confirm to you what personal data we may hold about you, if any, and for what purposes
  • change the consent which you have provided to us in relation to your personal data
  • correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data which we may hold about you
  • provide you with a complete copy of your personal data for you to move elsewhere
  • stop the processing of your personal data, whilst an objection from you is being resolved
  • permanently erase all your personal data promptly, and confirm to you that this has been done (there may be reasons why we may be unable to do this which are outlined in the Data Retention section)

If we do not address your request or fail to provide you with a valid reason why we have been unable to do so, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office to make a compliant. They can be contacted via their website (www.ico.org.uk) or by telephone 0303 123 1113.

Where we store your personal information

Your customer data is held on secure servers inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), specifically the United Kingdom.

As a data controller, and by registering on the website or sending us your personal information by other means, you are indicating your consent for your personal information to be stored on our servers within the EEA.

All third parties which we use to process your data are also bound by GDPR and The Gambling Act 2005.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and if we do, we will post any changes on our Service Notices page
